94th birth anniversary of Nadikar Thilakom

  “Acting is my breath and acting is the only profession I know, acting is my god”-ShivajiGaneshan says in his autobiography ‘Autobiography of an actor’. Tomorrow, on 1st October Nadikar Thilakom   Shivaji Ganeshan   celebrates his 94th birthday in heaven. On 1st October 1928 V.Chinnaiya Manrayar Ganesamoorthy, popular by his stage name Shivaji Ganesan, was born in Villupuram, Tamil Nadu. Ganesan was the fourth son of Chinnaiya Manrayar and Rajamani Ammal. He started his acting career at the age of seven soon after joining a touring stage drama company. He joined the company without his father’s consent and this marks his burning desire and passion toward’s acting. Moreover, the kick-off for the transition of little Ganesan to the famous Shivaji Ganeshan was from that stage company. In his early career Ganesan acted under the name V.C Ganesan.  On a fine evening, my brother was eagerly watching nature by standing on the terrace of our home. Suddenly he asked me a question which made me stop dead in my tracks. His question was that for what purpose did the god created birds? By flying like this for all-days what do they get? This question actually made me think a lot. Cancer affects heart too!

 On reading a journal about cancer and its treatments, a sentence in it got struck in my head. The sentence was that: "Heart is the only human organ where cancer cannot get affected "But I will say that it is wrong even though the whole medical system approves it. You also just think how can it be possible? Are you confused? Let me elaborate....                            First of all what is cancer? Uncontrolled growth of cells in certain parts due to the exposure to certain carcinogens. Right? Now just think how this cancer starts? Without any knowing at some time we get exposed to some type of carcinogens. We wont be able to know about this exposure until we get sick...or sometime we get addicted to some carcinogenic drugs by knowing all about it...In that case also it all starts with a little for fun & later unknowingly ends up in addiction...then this cancerous cells take birth. Slowly it starts to grow....
